We at Mirador are proud of our authors and their successes. Here are just a few of our latest books and the kind things readers have said about them.

Recently Hans Berger published his memoirs with us, ‘A Bridge To Cross’. A traumatic story following the plight of a young family as they fled the Nazi and Russian forces in the latter days of World War Two. Not only has this been gathering a clutch of outstanding reviews on the Book Retailers websites but it seems to be all over the news websites as well. Have a look here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful Read
 Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
“I just finished the book and it is an intense read. This read is powerful and brings me to a reality that I and a lot of generations don’t know details to. I am thankful to have this story to bring readers to what it was actually like in WWII. It brings us to the war, in the war and the aftermath of the war. It brings all the emotions involved through this personal story. I highly recommend the book. It reminds me of how fragile and precious life really is. Thank you Hans for taking the time and what must have been emotional writings for you.”

Another recent Mirador Publishing release gathering high reviews is  ‘The Full Stop Artist’ by Mike O’Reilly Kennedy, a galloping tale of murder and mayhem in a sleepy French town.

5.0 out of 5 stars great book
“I really enjoyed this book. The plot was easy to follow and the book was well written and easy to read. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something fun to read.”

Damian Magnay launched his writing career with us with his debut novel ‘The King of Mekong’. A nail-biting adventure through the jungles of modern Vietnam.

This is a great book.

“King of the Mekong really grabbed me from the beginning. My father was in the Vietnam War and I’ve heard a lot of stories about it when I was growing up. This book really touched me. I couldn’t imagine the terror someone would go through trying to escape guerrillas and police, simply because they went on vacation. You should pick this book up, it’s totally worth the read and the price. I highly recommend it!”

One book of which we are especially proud is ‘The Road To London’ by Adriano Bulla and published by Glastonbury Publishing which is part of the Mirador Group. Not only is this attracting huge attention but is also an entry into the 2014 Man Booker Prize.

5.0 out of 5 stars A comprehensive view of the struggles of life
“A book for just about everyone who has struggled through finding their own meaning in life, this book’s title does not do justice to the love, loss, despair, crisis and the fight to save yourself contained within its pages. Some parts left me gaping at the monstrosity of our world and how similar everyone’s struggles are. Adriano Bulla’s masterpiece covers every detail of the story and yet leaves you hungry for more at the end.”

John Branney recently launched Ghosts of the Heart, the second in his ‘Shadows on the Trail’ trilogy to an eager audience.

Great continuation of the Series, 3
“This review is from: Ghosts of the Heart: Vol 2 (Paperback)
This is the second in the series and a great story based on what life might have been like thousands of years ago. The story is a real page turner. I found it difficult to put down. Now I can’t wait for the conclusion of the series. I have found both books in the series to be a fascinating look at what life could have been like for the first Americans.”

A publishing company is only as good as its authors and we at Mirador Publishing are proud of all of our authors, unfortunately we only have space here to feature one or two of our latest releases.
